Ami is a versatile designer from Japan with over 20 years of experience in design and branding across various industries. Ami has previously worked as an editorial designer/art director in fashion, art and culture for clients such as Louis Vuitton, Peugeot and High Fashion Magazine in Tokyo. After receiving her MFA in Experience Design at Konstfack in Sweden, she expanded her design area to fashion accessories, set design and digital design. Seeking solutions from diverse perspectives and cultures sparked her interest in branding and she started working as a branding designer at Bold Scandinavia. Ami likes to approach design from meaningful constraints based on the client's potential, and craft designs that communicate holistically with the audience. She currently works as a senior designer at Identity Works in Stockholm.
